"Document. Don't create." - Gary Vaynerchuk

Hello everyone. It has been several weeks since I published my first ever blog about how you can transform yourself online. I am kicking myself as I am rewriting this blog having finished writing the draft and by mistake did not save it!  Beginners' mistake, I will not do that again!  It's a good thing that it's all fresh on my mind and can remember what I wrote.  So here it is a second time.

It was a daunting experience to expose myself with my first blog to the world and I was so scared to put myself out there. How did I feel afterwards?  Actually, I felt a severe chest pain.  I thought I was having a heart attack or about to have one.  Was this the cause of my fear of rejection, fear of not being accepted, fear of failing at my attempt of a new digital life?  It made me question what I was doing and what for?  Was I trying too hard and was this caused by the stress I brought on myself?  Believe me I became an instant hypochondriac!

I am happy to report that after extensive medical tests, my doctor told me that the chest pain was caused by an inflamed left rib cartilage.  I live in Marbella, southern Spain where there is all year round sunshine which is why they call it 'Costa del Sol', the sunshine coast.  I go running and do crossfit on the beach most mornings and live a healthy, positive life.  All my friends know how much I love my life, which is my mantra.  This chest pain stopped me from living, albeit a short time, as I literally had to stop any form of exercise and it also stopped me on my journey to the new digital life that I am creating.

Trips to attend a birthday party in Norway and an event in London was in doubt though in the end, I decided to go and continue living.  I am happy to say that I am back on track, even more grateful for the life I have and the fact that I wasn't going to die, not yet anyway!

A business contact recommended that I read a book called Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk and wow what a great book to read about how to succeed in social digital marketing. I was inspired.  I also enrolled on a course called Facebook Kickstarter Course by Guy and Ilan Ferdman of https://satoriprimeacademy.com/ and attended my first class recently, very promising indeed.

In the class, they highlighted Gary Vaynerchuk as a leader in the field of digital marketing and I thought wow what a coincidence that I am reading one of his books and we are studying him in class.  I believe that we attract what we put out there and I feel blessed that I am getting help and guidance ,at the crucial time, from the likes of Gary, Guy and Ilan. Thank you universe.

One of my biggest fears is what content do I put out there?  Thank you Gary Vaynerchuk for sharing this video  https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/creating-content-that-builds-your-personal-brand/  and your advise is pivotal to my progress.  My journey continues with much gusto knowing that I can document and be in control of what I put out there instead of waiting for that aha creative moment to write something fabulous and in the end, not produce any content at all.  The mere fact that I am writing this blog is testament to your no nonsense advise to be truthful and document my journey as I see and feel it.  I am very grateful for this advise.

To conclude, I am progressing as well as expected and I am enjoying the journey.  My transformation has experienced a small blip due to a medical condition which I have fully recovered from.  My major breakthrough so far is overcoming the fear of being found out of not knowing really what I am doing. I suppose it is all part of my self discovery. I am learning new skills and a new way of life, the digital life. I have much to learn and am excited to be sharing with you how I am transforming my life.

Did you like reading my blog? If so, please share the love and share it with your friends.  Thank you, from sunny Marbella, Lino xx
