Stop trading your time for money, there are other ways you can create an income that does not rely on you putting in hour after hour. Say you want to make a $100.000 a year and you work 40 hours a week. That would mean your hourly rate should be $48. If you work 60 hours a week, slaving away for your boss, your hourly rate drops to $32. You are actually making yourself less valuable by working more for less.
Instead of hours, focus on value provided. A great way to provide value to people is through products and leveraging the value of those products.
It all depends on what kind of products you’re leveraging. If say, you still want to make that $100.000 and you sell a $7 product, that would mean you’d have to sell over a whopping 14.000 of those products to make it to that $100.000 a year. And believe me, you’ll be working a lot more than 60 hours a week.
But if you have a product that has the value of $4000, that all of a sudden it’s completely different. Then you would only have to sell 25 products. And I’d much rather sell 25 products instead of 14.000 products.
