Time management tip 3 - Structuring your schedule

"YAWN!! Structuring my schedule?"  I hear you lament.  "That's so BORING!"  Indeedy it might sound boring but it is going to make your day SO much easier.  And, I think you might start enjoying it!

Now, grab your highlighter pen and watch this....

Now that there is a structure in place all you need to do is follow it!  It is so good to refer back to a structured timetable when you feel your mind wandering.  You don't need to think about it, just check back to your schedule.  You've got enough other stuff to think about, make it easier on yourself!

Having a support system around you will also massively help you stay on track.  Working for yourself can feel isolating and lonely at times.  Many folks who run their own business join networking groups and now, in this digital age, we can talk to someone on the other side of the world as if they are in the same room.

I am so grateful to the community that I belong to.  I am learning the valuable and transferable skill of digital marketing through some of the best training I have ever had.  And with the support of the community, I am learning how to run my own online business through an education system that offers a top quality training.

Everything I need is at my fingertips.  Literally.  Not only are the support team on hand 24/7 but everyone else in this community is offering their help too.  I never feel alone.  This community is built on authenticity and giving, not in a weird cult way, but real honest stuff.  It's so refreshing. I have never experienced anything quite like it, this system is so strong it never crumbles, it just gets stronger.

This strength in this concept reminds me of a Vipassana meditation retreat I went on a few years back which was built on and runs on donations.  During their stay each retreatant will live off donations from previous groups which is explained by Vipassana teacher S. N. Goenka, as 'living like a monk'.  It makes you grateful.  At the end of the retreat you are invited to give a donation if you feel that you have benefitted.  How fair is that?  This system has been running in this way for 2000 years!  Nuff said.

Bringing it all back, it feels great to be in a non-judgmental space, to be supported and making big progress.  Three months ago there was no way that I would have spoken on camera and here I am making a mini-series! (Yes I have a way to go but I am so chuffed with the progress).  But this isn't just about learning about business, this stuff teaches you how to find your courage, confidence and even your purpose.  It can be life changing if you want it to be.

Now, I'm not saying this training runs on donations - far from it!  I have invested a considerable sum of money, not to mention the time I put in, but this investment is the best I've ever made. To be in my forties and on the path to following my dreams is something very special indeed.

Through this work I am rediscovering my passions, fuelling my creativity and finding my purpose.  I am at a stage now where I can see the progress I have made and I can feel positive changes happening in my life.  For the first time in a long time I am excited and fired up about life, and because of this I want to share with you the same video-series that got me on this life-changing journey.

The catch?  You will have to make some changes to your lifestyle to fit this in - that's if you can afford it.  You need to invest your time, this is definitely not 'get rich quick', and I'm telling you right now it's not cheap.  But having said all that, if you want change in your life it might just be what you are looking for.  For me, it has been a huge game changer and because I'm on this journey with a bunch of other like-minded people, I am also seeing their lives being transformed.

In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying the mini-series  Please leave a comment or like my Facebook Page
