As I was walking home, I started thinking about what id like to eat. I recalled seeing Pitta Bread in the freezer and thought about what i could make that would be nice. I decided to try out Pitta Pizza's. Here is how it went...
First the basic ingredients: Stuff in my fridge..
The stuff in my fridge
1/2 red pepper
Opened packet of Salami
1/4 block cheese
Nearly empty jar of Dolmio Sauce (the one with sundried tomatoes and red wine)
A Spring Onion
Pretty much i just put a bit of each on the pitta bread starting with the sauce, then the veg and meat and Cheese on top.
To garnish i added a dash of Cayenne Pepper and a sprinkle of Oregano dried herbs. The rocket went on top for a bit of colour.
Simple and Easy
I cooked these in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes until the pitta pizza was crispy on the outside and the cheese was melted.
Here is a picture of the one left after i devoured the first 2. Itll make a great lunch for tomorrow.
There you have it somple, tasty and ready in minutes with no planning.
If you try out this recipe let me know how you got on, i'Simple d love to hear.
