Cut the CRAP!

It's interesting to note that most people spend a very large portion of their early life (up until mid twenties) educating themselves with school, University or College. We spend thousands to learn an occupation or skill in a chosen field. However, most of us don't even spend half that amount of time or money educating our minds. Some people stop educating themselves in any way the day they leave school.

There are so many successful people throughout history that did not even have a proper school education, however they achieved enormous levels of success and riches because they knew how to create whatever they wanted through the power of their minds. I believe this education is the most important. Learning how to have a positive mental attitude, focus on your goals, visualise and continuously surround yourself with like-minded individuals will stand you in much better stead than someone who does non of the above.

Some people would rather come home from work and 'switch off' by watching reality tv programs, reading the daily tabloids or news articles that have absolutely no impact on their lives except to fill their minds with absolute crap and negativity which usually makes us feel bad. In the past when I have watched hours of television I feel so flat and depressed afterwards because it is negative energy. There is no thinking, creating or expanding the mind watching television!

We are in control of our thoughts all day every day so we need to be very careful that the fuel going into our brains and bodies to create those thoughts is premium and not dodgy crap. Our subconcious mind takes on board everything it hears and creates neuro pathways in our brains which are either negative or positive. Why do you think parents are so careful about what people say or how people behave around their children? Because the parents know that their children will absorb everything and either repeat the 'naughty words' or start practicing the bad behaviour they have witnessed. That doesn't change as we get older!

We are products of our environment and the people we surround ourselves with (including the people we watch regularly on television) so we need to guard our minds from all the crap and the best way to do that is to fill our minds with good stuff. Going to seminars, listening to positive webinars, recordings or audio books every morning, reading books to enhance our minds and that challenge us to think bigger...all these things will train your mind to be focused and sharp.

It is good to relax and unwind, but we don't need to watch crap on television to do that. Do some exercise, listen to uplifting music, have a bath, read a book, talk to some happy friends and laugh, dance around your room like an idiot, smile at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself how amazing you are or if you must watch tv then watch a positive or uplifting movie with a good message. It's up to you, but if you really want to be successful then perhaps its time to wake up and be aware of the impact of what you are putting into your mind and body has on your life.

Every successful person you will study, read about or admire has done work on themselves, their mindset and the way they think. I guarantee you. A huge portion of their life involves surrounding themselves with a circle of influence that lift them higher, challenge them to excel to new levels and encourage them to achieve their goals. They are constantly working on themselves and educating and investing in themselves.

“If you ever want to become successful in life, find someone who’s done what it is you want to do and duplicate them.”

It is that simple. Who do you respect, admire and want to be like. What do you want to do and achieve? Find someone who has had the kind of success in that chosen field and mimic their behaviour. There's no need to try and forge a new pathway when someone has already paved the way for you...in fact there is probably numerous people who have.

When I came across the SFM, I could see that this was demonstrated in everything they were teaching. Yes, Stuart Ross has had enormous success in on-line marketing. He has created a system to share these teachings with me and anyone else who chooses this path. I know in my heart that I have found an ethical, authentic and genuine teacher and I plan to model and mimic his behaviour to have the success in creating a digital business for myself also.

So what do you want to do? Who can be your role model or trainer? Study them, copy them, and if you follow their path you can have success like them. You can have be or do anything you want.

I would love to hear your comments, thoughts or any feedback you have from any of my blogs.

I say everything with love and your best interests at heart. Have a wonderful day!
