How is 2017 going for you so far?
Soar in the Direction of Your Dreams
If you are like most people who make New Year's resolutions, you've already given up on them.
But if you're the exception to the rule then kudos to you! More power to you, and keep going!
Webster’s defines resolution this way “a firm decision to do or not to do something.” In order for us to stick to those so-called firm decisions, we must want the desired outcome badly enough so that rather than pushing ourselves through the discomfort of that decision, we instead need to desire something so compellingly as to pull us toward it.
In order for us to be truly happy, our lives must continue to progress.
We will continue to experience discontent if 2017 is the same as 2016 which was the same as 2015, etc.…
We experience true joy and happiness when we are growing and experiencing new things.
Think about what you want out of life. And then consider the person that you need to become in order to achieve it.
Start with these 4 steps as suggested by Tony Robbins:
What’s an area of your life that you want to improve? Figure out what’s important to you to improve, whether Career or business, your health, relationships, Spirituality…
Write down what that area of your life is like RIGHT NOW and be as specific as possible. Be real clear about how it is right now, at this point.
Write down the rituals that have shaped your current conditions in this area. And be honest!
Whatever results you’re getting, even if you don’t like those results, there are some rituals that are keeping you in that place. Whether it’s how you eat, or don’t eat. How you move or don’t move. How you sleep or don’t sleep. It can be rituals surrounding a lack of variety or focus in a certain area. There are always some things you're doing consistently, and it’s usually not just one thing but a number of little things that are giving you the results you’ve got right now.
Write down what you want. What’s your compelling vision? And once again, be very specific!
Write down the rituals that will get you your compelling vision. What would you need to do differently each day to get what you want? What would you need to do specifically in order to achieve what you want or feel the way that you want to feel?
For example; how many days a week would you need to work out, and at what time? What kind of work out would you need to do?
A ritual is something that you do consistently and usually at a specific time so that it becomes automatic.
Willpower doesn’t last! But rituals can last a lifetime.
In order to achieve your new life you don’t need to wait for January 1st. Start today. Surround yourself with people who will hold you to a higher standard.
If you don’t have those people in your life, start a dialog with ME!

Tony says there are two pains in life; the pain of discipline, and the pain of regret. We don’t want the pain of regret!
