Hair- Coconut oil is great for the body in many different ways, but for the hair, it is an intense moisturizer and conditioner, a detangler, and it also gets rid of dandruff. The vitamins and essential fatty acids found in coconut oil nourish the scalp and help to remove sebum build-up from hair follicles.
Face- Aloe vera is my favorite thing to use on my face. I grow a lot of it so I have a never-ending supply, and it is very easy to grow. It is also great for many other things like sunburn, the hair and also weight loss. The two hormones contained in aloe vera, Auxin and Gibberellins provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Aloe vera is also effectively used to heal chronic skin problems like psoriasis, acne, and eczema. I like to put the gel on my face before bed as it has been known to reverse skin aging and promote regeneration.
