The Mindset shift

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you continuing to be part of my journey with My WHY my story...

There was a time in between the birth of my kids, where I went through this phase of restlessness, of sameness, of losing interest in things that used to give me joy before.

I found myself being madly in love with my kids.❤️💕💕

Life before and after kids

The career that was a big part of me before kids lost its lusture to me. I didn't feel like i belonged and the excitement of climbing the corporate ladder just faded. That 3 hours commute from west to east which i didn't mind earlier, started bothering me now. The thought of leaving my kids to a daycare while I work away to pay someone else to raise my kids, didn't just settle with me.

In my head, I started to think if i'm not even able to contribute fully in my household, how can I possibly think of contributing on a much bigger level.

I also realized that my life did not just belong to me anymore. My kids claimed a major portion of it so for me to get in tune with myself, I needed an intervention, a routine on daily basis to guide me in a direction that makes sense to where I was in my life and where I wanted to go from there.

I knew right then that if i want different results then I need a different thinking, a different mindset to go along with it.

Thinking into Results

In quest of finding that guidance, that mentor, I came across this online event from Bob proctor. I was intrigued. I went on to attend that event a week later. I felt an instant connection and I made up my mind to be a part of this coaching program called 'Thinking into Results'.

I did struggle to find time in the beginning but I held my ground. I found ways to make time for it here and there, before kids woke up and after they went to bed at night. Around four months into the program, I started to see a shift in myself. A newly renowned confidence, a sense of self wanting to be more, express more, and just wanting to LIVE the life.

I felt ready to take on the challenge. To find ways to add value while being true to my authentic self. To find something meaningful to do while being fully present in my kids life, sharing their little moments, and watch them grow in front of my eyes.

The next article in 'My WHY my story' series will take you to my journey of fulfilling my Why and how I can help you along the way as well. Stay tuned!

Feel free to share with your family and friends:-). Until next time, stay inspired and keep going in the direction of your why!
