Are you celebrating Halloween? Do your kids go "trick or treat"?
Halloween is a rather new tradition in Sweden but it seems to get more popular each year. I welcome it, as I do with everything that makes people happy. I think it´s a fun and different thing. I have been on several Halloween parties over the years. My oldest son wanted to have a party a few years ago. My husband and I went all in. Maybe a little too much since some kids got really scared...(photo above)
This year we don´t celebrate Halloween at all. We are moving to Spain, Gran Canaria in just 2 days. It's all about packing and sorting our things for renting out our house. It´s incredible how much stuff you have, living in the house for 11 years. It´s hard to pack everything and have a normal life with 3 kids at the same time. Therefore we have stayed in my parents' guesthouse for a week to make it easier.
Also, when you´re leaving for a long time to another country, you want to get certain things done before. I have for example been to the dentist several of times this week to fix my teeth. The kids had their last day in school on Friday and baked for their friends in school. They now have a one week vacation which makes it a good time to move.
For me, it´s probably been a good thing to have lots to do. That way I haven´t worried about flying... yet. I really hate travelling by air, I´m so frightened something bad will happen. It´s not the best combination for "the scared mum" to have to handle 3 kids and 3 cats either. Please keep your fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly.
Next blog post will be from Spain, Gran Canaria. Hope to have a well-working wifi in our house since my business continues regardless where I am. A computer and wifi, that's all I need! :-)
Wishing you a very Happy Halloween!
All The Best!
