In a previous blog I wrote about the new journey we are embarking on and how you can become a Mompreneur, but first things first.
What exactly is a Mompreneur?
Yup, you guessed it, a Mom and an Entrepreneur. Whether you are a stay at home mom, running a business, part time or full time, working a 8-5 and caring for your family, that my friend makes you a Mompreneur. You are a multi-tasking machine.
What does it take to be a Mompreneur?
You've got the mom part sorted, now its time to tackle the entrepreneur in You. It is a simple recipe for success but it takes time, patience and discipline. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and the same applies here. If you want to build a life for yourself and your family you will have to put in the hard work.
What steps can You take Today?
1. Think It
I want you to stop right now, where ever you are and think about what your ideal day looks like. Even if you struggle with this at first, I want to encourage you to give this some thought. If no one has reminded you of this lately, I am here to tell you today, YOU have the power to create. Just look at your children tonight..you made that!
2. Write It
Putting pen to paper, write down what you want to achieve and how does this fit into your ideal day? Do you want more time? Do you want more money? Hold these goals in your thoughts. Imagine what it will feel like when you achieve these goals.
3. Do It
Put your goals where you can see them. Your goals must stay top of mind for you to start taking action daily. Even if you want to make a dream board, do it. Every day you wake up ask yourself, what steps can I take today? If making more money is what you want, what are you doing today to get started?
In closing, it's about what you do today as today's actions will create your tomorrow. Be kind to yourself and practise patience while you apply these steps daily.Do what you can with what you've got..YOU are amazing.
