How to create a daily development routine

We all want to succeed. & one path to success is identifying the habits that can help us on our journey.


This is one aspect of business that many people seem to struggle with & yet it is vital to making your business a success

It doesn’t matter what business you are in from bricks & mortar business, to crypto, to online marketing, or online shop ….

Its all the same if we are not doing daily development we will NOT KEEP UP WITH CHANGE


 Daily development is …. Just that! we need to keep learning to keep progressing in life right

So, we need daily routines put into place, so this becomes a habit

I started my daily routines with the book “the miracle morning”

Wow that is a total eye opener & set me into amazing good habits which I am continuing to do daily

Part of the miracle morning is reading & journaling … so I have been out & invested in a pile of books … I sit every morning and read one chapter of an influential book then I highlight the good stuff so easy to find later

Next, I take notes into my journal of what I have learned from what I have read today.

 After that I do the rest of my miracle morning routine …. I then get onto my computer & put into action what I have just learned making sure its at least 3 new steps towards my goal

after I have put theses new steps into action I then share my new knowledge with others …. Letting them know where I have learned this new knowledge from so they intern can upskill them self’s more & share also with others….


 One of the books I have started to read is exactly what triggered this blog today …

“the 7 habits of highly effective people “by STEPHEN. R. COVEY

This book is another amazing read teaching you how to look at life from every angle.

Talking about “paradigm”





noun: paradigm; plural noun: paradigms

1.         Be Proactive

2.         Begin with the End in Mind

3.         Put First Things First

 but If I had to choise out of all these habits down to two, they'd be:

(1) Do something.  Just stop sitting around and act.  Every minute you're sitting around checking Facebook, you're not taking action getting you closer to you dreams

(2) Plan what you're taking action about.  Don't just act willy-nilly.  Have a plan. Think things through.  Do one thing in the right order before you need to do the next thing to get where you want to go.

That's it.


 If you remember one thing, & one thing only, about the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People book, here it is:

At the start of every week, write a two-by-two matrix on a blank sheet of paper where one side of the matrix says "urgent" and "not urgent" and the other side of the matrix says "important" and "not important." Then, write all the things you want to do that week.

 These days people look for the quick fix. . .They see a successful person, team, or business & ask, "How do you do it? ….Teach me your techniques!"

But these “shortcuts” that we look for, hoping to save time & effort yet still achieve the desired result, are simply band-aids that will only achieve short-term solutions; they don't address the underlying condition/ problems or develop good routines.


"The way we see the problem is the problem,"


 Covey writes. We must allow ourselves to undergo paradigm shifts -- to change ourselves fundamentally & not just alter our attitudes & behaviors on the surface level -- in order to achieve true change.

That's where the seven habits of highly effective people come in:

· Habits 1, 2, and 3 are focused on self-mastery and moving from dependence to independence.

· Habits 4, 5, and 6 are focused on developing teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills, and moving from independence to interdependence.

· Habit 7 is focused on continuous growth and improvement that embodies all the other habits.

Are you starting to reevaluate your day yet … maybe you could start by braking your days up into sections?

Work out what habits you already have good & bad too see where the change is needed but be brutally honest with yourself

Remember although change is not easy it is necessary to move forward

 Try this

1. Be Proactive

Start replacing reactive language with proactive language.

Reactive = "He makes me so mad."
Proactive = "I control my own feelings."

 2: Begin with the End in Mind

Start with a clear destination in mind.

 we can use our imagination to develop a vision of what we want to become & use our conscience to decide what values will guide us.

 3: Put First Things First

To manage ourselves effectively, we must put first things first. We must have the discipline to prioritize our day-to-day actions based on what is most important, not what is most urgent.

 Habit 3 is all about actually going after these goals, & our priorities on a day-to-day, moment-to-moment basis.

To maintain the discipline & the focus to stay on track toward our goals, we need to have the willpower to do something when we don’t want to do it.

We need to act according to our values rather than our desires

 4: Think Win-Win

In order to establish human interaction that works, we must commit to creating Win-Win situations that are mutually beneficial & satisfying to each party.

Win-Win: Both people win. Agreements or solutions are mutually beneficial and satisfying to both parties.

 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood

 Before we can offer advice, suggest solutions, or effectively interact with another person in any way, we must seek to deeply understand them and their perspective through empathic listening.

Let’s say you go to an optometrist and tell him that you’ve been having trouble seeing clearly, and he takes off his glasses, hands them to you and says,

“Here, try these -- they’ve been working for me for years!”

You put them on, but they only make the problem worse. What are the chances you’d go back to that optometrist?

Unfortunately, we do the same thing in our everyday interactions with others. We prescribe a solution before we diagnose the problem. We don’t seek to deeply understand the problem first.

Habit 5 says that we must seek first to understand, then to be understood. In order to seek to understand, we must learn to listen.


My mum always said we are born with 2 ears & 1 mouth we must listen twice as much as we talk


6: synergize

By understanding and valuing the differences in another person’s perspective, we can create synergy, which allows us to uncover new possibilities through openness and creativity.

The combination of all the other habits prepares us for Habit 6, which is the habit of synergy or "When one plus one equals three or more and the whole is great than the sum of its parts."

For example, if you plant two plants close together, their roots will co-mingle and improve the quality of the soil, so that both plants will grow better than they would on their own.

Synergy allows us to create new alternatives & open new possibilities. It allows us as a group to collectively agree to toss out the old & start with the new

 7 Sharpen the Saw

To be effective, we must devote the time to renewing ourselves physically, spiritually, mentally, & socially. Continuous renewal allows us to synergistically increase our ability to practice each habit.

Habit 7 is focused around renewal or taking time to “sharpen the saw.” It surrounds all the other habits & makes each one possible by preserving & enhancing your greatest asset … ourselves!

There are four dimensions of our nature, & each must be exercised regularly, & in balanced ways:
