The Power Of Forgiveness- Heal Yourself
What does forgiveness mean to you?
Why should we forgive?
Do you forgive yourself easily?
Have you ever been in a situation where someone had hurt you, done wrong by you, betrayed your trust, or even something you thought to be unforgivable! I think we've all been in that situation at least once in our lives or maybe many.
How did it make you feel? - Brocken, deceived, let down, sadness, anger, resentful, vengeance or even hatred.
That's right, negative, negative emotions and negative feeling.
So how does that affect us and our health and well being? Feelings of negative and emotions and stress can cause high blood pressure, greater risk of heart dis-ease, headaches, anxiety and many other health issues. Why would we do this to ourselves because of someone who has pushed us to react to their behavior in a negative way, in turn affecting our own health an well being? Learning to control our reactions is a whole new ball game!
Now that's where forgiveness comes in. And by all means, this does not mean we condone the behavior or forget the circumstance in which we were hurt, but it does give us the power to heal and move on. Holding onto things that have already happened and what we have no control over isn't worth risking our health and happiness. What we do and how we control ourselves is what matters.
Dr. Wayne Dyer is my go-to man, he gives nothing but great value every time. So if you're needing more help I highly recommend you click on the link above and have a read of this miracle man, you'll be glad you did.
In my personal life I have forgiven many people, many times, and not only because I love those people but also because I know that no one on this earth is perfect, we are all here to learn lessons and to grow and flourish from the mistakes we have made. We are all human and it's inevitable that occasionally we're going to mess up, forgive yourself, learn from your mistake and move forward.
Forgiveness can also bring us closer to each other and to finding a deeper more connected kinship, creating a greater bond, a more intensified love and more patience and understanding.
This is one of my favorite quotes of all time!
Be Kind, Be Free, Be You.
