There is no question that many of us are coming to a mid-point in our lives where we know something needs to change. Sometimes it is sparked by a change of circumstances such as a loss of a long time job, difficulty getting another job or maybe the realisation that your current occupation is either not satisfying or never was, to begin with.

I spent almost half my working life in jobs I hated! 

I myself have spent most of my life in jobs that I never really wanted to do and which were physically demanding and time-consuming with little or no potential for progression. I was just living paycheck to paycheck because I thought I had no other choice. I felt depressed, tired, frustrated and deeply unfulfilled. It wasn't that I didn't know that other opportunities existed out there, I just didn't really have the time, confidence or drive or even know where to look for them.

It was seriously affecting my mental and physical well-being!

About a year ago after putting up with years of depression, physical ill health and my second mental breakdown, something finally kicked me in the rear end and caused me to take action and look around for alternative solutions. I had been trying to start my own business for quite some time but had had little to no success. After years of being an internet-phobic, I finally made a decision that I had to bite the bullet and go online to promote myself. 

I spent a lot of time searching for solutions online!

I did a lot of research and spent many hours looking for different options in the online space but somehow managed to turn up with either unsatisfactory results or just plain zero. There was an overwhelming amount of choice and finding what I was looking for felt almost impossible. It was extremely frustrating and I was beginning to think I was wasting my time. 

The solution was right underneath my nose! 

Being a keen you-tuber I would frequently view many self-help materials on this website. I had always shone a pretty negative light on advertisements which would frequently disrupt my viewing but there was one particular person who came up time and time again in these advertisements. Months went by and I repeatedly ignored them but one day I decided to view the video. There was something about it that drew my attention and after a couple of days of pondering my curiosity finally got the better of me and I decided to view the 7-day free video series that was being offered. After all, it was free, so I had nothing to loose anyway.

Becoming an online entrepreneur made perfect sense to me! 

What I found was something that would answer every one of my questions about starting my own business in the online marketplace and for the first time I discovered how becoming an online entrepreneur could provide a solution to both my career and business dilemmas. I could really see the potential to change my life completely with what I had just discovered. It was in essence exactly what I had been looking for all along. It was at this point that things started to take a turn for the better as I now had everything that I needed to start online and finally pursue my long-held dream of becoming self-sufficient and creating a life that I truly love.
