HOW I STARTED MY ONLINE BUSINESS
I have never thought of owning a big office and being in command, giving instructions to people to do what you want and not what they want.
I saw it as rude and manipulative, even working in one of the leading international franchise business worldwide, I didn’t feel satisfied especially moving the management ladder. (This especially happened in my previous bank job working as a supervisor)
Something was always missing and I didn’t know what it was that made me feel ‘’I don’t like to be pushed’’.
I hated deadlines and pressure from my superiors and extended extra hours. But I kept working because I had no choice.
The Idea that one person has so much control over my lifestyle for 54 hours in a week and the rest for sleep. No freedom, no time for yourself. Just work and work.
So realizing I was soon getting stuck I decided to venture Checking some adverts on Facebook, Google search and watching YouTube videos talking about how to make money online.
There is pretty much business going around all Social Media and these search engines that you get confused. I could read ‘’the how to get rich quick articles’’, ‘’how to make your first 1000$ in just a few steps’’ they all sounded great but I didn’t know how to start.
The journey to online success.
While scrolling and sorting articles to read on my Facebook page, I came across a video that totally changed my thinking and led me into ‘business.
It was a video dubbed ‘’working from home’’ Dijana’s mode.it talked about things that interested me like:
Working from the comfort of your home.
Work from anywhere from any country at any time and be your own boss.
Make money online being an affiliate.
Leverage your skills online in any expert field.
Want to be a stay home mum and have the love for family?
Now obviously this was something that pulled me in, as everybody wants freedom.
That’s when I found exactly what I was looking for. She introduced to me to a webcast session. After reading this article and watching the introductory video The 5 Steps to Succeeding Online I was in.
The training and process.
What could be more fulfilling than being showed how to escape poverty? That was my mental state. I dived in immediately and started with understanding the digital world through the digital lifestyle introduction – the realistic opportunity.

The internet is the great equaliser.in the business specifically anyone can start making money online with just a phone, computer, and good internet network. There is no need of technical experience required. You can also live anywhere you want, set your own schedule and work as little or as much as you want, depending on how fast, or big you want to grow your business. Best of all, unlike brick-and-mortar business, you don’t need a lot of start-up capital you need open mind and commitment
What platforms to consider.
1. Become an affiliate.
Here basically you pick a profitable niche for your online business idea and then become an affiliate to that. You offer the products for sale on your blog or website, each product has a unique link that tracks back to your account with the product page.
The main focus here is to provide more value and information about the product, its merits verse demerits, also compare with other competing brands. It is important that you are being transparent by providing your customers with full genuine information to help those making right buying decisions.
2. Google ad words.
The pay-per-click ads where you get paid when someone clicks on an advertisement you made. Here you only need a code from Google, place it on your website and the ads will automatically appear on your blog. Google will only show ads relevant to your blog, so its good experience for your customers means more income.
3. Social media advertising
Not only are your audience on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. YouTube is the internet’s second largest search engine, it can help improve your SEO and overall brand presence. Social media allows marketers to present content in a unique way that is easy for viewers to consume and share. According to digital organics, youtube alone has massive traffic and viewers with over 1325m people using it. There are currently 300 hours of video uploads to YouTube every minute of every day- 5 hours of video content every second- which means that video marketing is a growing trend.
