Being Good At Something Doesn't Mean You Should Be Doing It

When I found something I was good at, at school that's all I wanted to do. I loved art but I wasn't amazing at it. In fact I wasn't really amazing at any subject but I started incorperating photography into my art projects and that's where I started getting good results so I thought hey here's something I could do as a job that I wouldn't hate going to everyday.

If you relate to any of this, then I can perhaps help you find another way out of the traditional job or maybe even giving University a massive swerve when you can see the undefinedpotential to make money online. When you can have all the time in the world to do the things you love for the shear joy of it instead of having to go to work to make ends meet.

But anyway I worked weekends shovelling horse cr#p for a few months to gather funds to buy a decent DSLR camera I saved nearly a year for, then long story short I basically lived and breathed photography.

It came to the end of school and I absolutley knew that's what I wanted to study at college, and here I got introduced to the darkroom. ( MASSIVE STARS IN MY EYES at the age of 16). I fecking loved it! My creative juices got flowing and I was good at it, got all the grades I needed for uni.

3 years passed doing what I loved and knew. The BIG decision was next. Uni? or what else... I didn't really know what to do and my best friend said "what are you going to do if you don't go to uni?"

"ermm well I guess I would work in a shop or waitressing" The fear and anxiety came over me like lighting tearing through me.

I applied to 4 uni's not really knowing if I wanted to go because of fear of losing out in the future. I thought I wanted to do photograhy because I was good at it and enjoyed it, in the art sense that is. I hated wedding photography (I tried it a few times) basically anything that had big money potential, I was'nt intertested, but no one really pays for art photography unless you're famous or/and dead.

I had done art photography since Iwas 16 but but after education that passion started to fizzle out. One year out of uni. There I was working in a retail job anyway.. In a camera shop! Selling cameras to other photography students.. But with a whopping £40,000 debt and counting over my head.

So a year after applying for a full time photography position around the UK but not really getting anywhere because I hadn't had enough experience but dot dot dot... I did get one eventually!

So this job was photographing fishing gear! In a studio 9 hours a day. In a studio, Isolated with rods and reels. On minimum wage. At first I loved it, my own little studio, no horrible customers to talk to! eventually I started getting bored. But mainly unfullfiled.

If you relate to any of this, then I can perhaps help you find another way out of the traditional job or maybe even giving University a massive swerve when you can see the potential to make money online. When you can have all the time in the world to do the things you love for the shear joy of it instead of having to go to work to make ends meet.

THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS

So I went searching elsewhere, to find something which would allow me to make an income on the side to eventually leave my job and to find my passion again.

So i'm here today to tell you, dont be threathened into going to Uni, if in doubt wait and try out other things because university is an option for many years to come.

There's SO SO many other options out there; aprenticeships are a great one BUT with the online economy bursting with life and A LOT of earning opportunities and I mean A lot and - its endless. It's where everyone hangs out now from all over the globe. and thats BILLIONS of people. That's a Huge audience. With the factor of having financial freedom so you don't HAVE to trade your money for time why wouldn't you?

The only problem is we're not taught about the earning possibilties online only the traditional jobs where you trade your time for money. I had enough and decided to break free because there's more to life than working 9-5 until we're 65+!

I found an amazing comminty with amazing potential and i'm on the journey to change my life and do photography because I want to again. I'm already starting to take the jobs I want instead of doing them because I HAVE to. If you're curious to know more, hit the sign up button and get started on the same journey! There's A LOT to be learnt about what you can achieve without knowing it right now.
