I watched a fascinating video recently, that I want to share the contents with you.

Most heart attacks occur in the early morning.  Here are the reasons, and how to prevent it:

REASON 1:

Early morning KLF15 Protein level reduces, thus increasing blood clotting and heart attack chances.

PREVENTION:

Drink a glass of water before going to bed, as this prevents blood thickness.

REASON 2:

Early morning cortisol hormone level increases, and causes high blood pressure that leads to heart attacks.

PREVENTION:

If you are taking medicine for a heart condition, take it before going to bed, instead of in the morning or afternoon.

REASON 3:

The early morning electrical system of the heart weakens, and decreases the blood supply in the heart, which may cause damage to the heart tissue.

PREVENTION:

Do not wake up rapidly in the middle of the night.  Wake up slowly and stretch the body.

REASON 4:

The heart's blood vessels thicken and tighten in the early morning, which may cause blood clotting and lead to heart attacks.

PREVENTION:

Consume less salt, less sugar and develop a healthy diet plan.  Regular check-ups for high blood pressure, cholesterol etc.

REASON 5:

Blood platelets become sticky in the early morning, and increases chances of clotting.

PREVENTION:

If you have any issues with your heart, avoid waking up early and take advice on exercise and physical activity from your doctor.

Almighty God made you in His own image.  You and your body are a temple of the most high God.  He has blessed you with an incredible piece of machinery.

Look after your body, and your body will look after you.  By treating your body with the respect and honour it deserves, you will be honouring Almighty God who blessed you with it in the first place.
