"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."
The above quote was spoken by Albert Einstein. I love this quote because it gives me permission to dream. If a Genius of the likes of Albert Einstein could say imagination is more important than knowledge then I am going to listen!
I remember so often as a child I was told to stop day dreaming. I had a big imagination, I still do. I am always conjuring up new inventions in my head or I have a thought about this or that that I would like to explore, then I remember this little voice in my head that says stop day dreaming. Perhaps my Mom told me to keep my head out of the clouds and get real because she was trying to protect me from heart ache. Following a dream can be very difficult and painful but so can the alternative of not ever knowing what could of been if you had listen to your heart.
Think about Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, Martin Luther King, Henry Ford, Ghandi, Albert Einstein and the list goes on. Each and every one of these amazing people had a dream in their heart. They weren't afraid of dreaming.
Look, dreaming is what has given life to all of the inventions we have today. In fact, everything in this world was thought about and dreamt about before manifesting into this physical reality. Our dreams are relevant and important and in fact put in our hearts by the same force that has put a soul into our being. We are born creators we should not fear what we innately are.
I say go ahead dream big, just start to give yourself permission to imagine. Think outside the box, get lost in the clouds, spend the night starring up at the stars wondering about this universe and imagine with an open heart and open mind.
