Did you know we all have fears? Dare we challenge those fears?
Where do fears come from?
Do fears hold us back from enjoying life to the fullest. Are we daring enough to take on life?
Halloween is now over so we no longer need to worry about the witches and goblins and people stealing candy from our children or grandchildren as they stay out in the dark later than usual.
I let life happen and Dave and I have been committed to each other in marriage for 53 years.
So many people are afraid to try something new, because they might make a mistake. There are no mistakes, everything that happens teaches us something. We just have to be Daring and just do it.
Some are afraid to cross over bridges, to travel abroad, to attend different churches, get married, have children, ride a bike, write a story, learn to swim, make a video.
When you think about your fears and were they came from it is very interesting. Most of our FEARS come from childhood.
I had a fear of learning computer skills(there were no computers when I grew up so that's my problem).
Growing up with few resources other than basic needs,we learned to respect property and never wanted to break anything.
My daughters encouraging coaching of "just try it Mom" has helped me overcome a lot of my computer fears. I'm learning daily.
The more I learn the more I realize I don't know. When we overcome one fear, other fears become easier to overcome.
