Today I was invited to play golf at a new course for me here in San Jose California called Cinnabar Creek.
It was about a 30 minute drive to get there and we were meeting one of my son-in laws buddies at the course. Since there were 3 of us they teamed us up with another guy who was by himself making a foursome.
His name was Tom and he owned a matial arts school in Los Gatos he was a very good golfer and knew the course as he has played it alot.
The course was in great shape and very challenging, with a number of par 5's and very difficult par 3's.
I was the oldest of the group and did not hit the ball as far as the 3 much younger guys I was with, probably 25years younger than I was.
None of us scored really well but it was a most enjoyable day, the sun was shining and it was in the mid 70's. It was really a beauty of a day to be out in nature and we had a number of deer checking us out as we played, also sand hill cranes and Canada Geese.
Of course we played the 19th hole also and had a beverage and enjoyed each others company even more.
It is great to be able to go golfing during the work week while others are slaving away at the J.O.B. and wishing they could be out on the course also. That's what you call living the creative lifestyle, being your own boss and taking time for yourself.
