Most recently Ms. Bowgen authored, Agapanthus Rising, published in the United States in 2014. It is an empowering book that reveals vignettes of her life as a launching pad for readers to explore the meaning and purpose of their existence. It traces her modest beginnings in South America and her arrival in the United States. The book is about self-discovery and the reawakening of the inner self in order to live with passion, peace and purpose. The goal is to help readers reach their highest potential. At the heart of the book is the message that our thoughts create our lives. By asking introspective questions at the end of each chapter, she helps readers reprogram thinking patterns, which is essential if we are to experience our dream lives. Equally important is the message that it is in service to others that we achieve fulfillment. Her book is currently being published in Turkey and Poland. She envisions the book being produced into a film one day.

Ms. Bowgen was born in Lima, Peru, grew up in Beverly Hills, California and lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
