Good Morning Friends,

Have you ever been depressed? Have you ever felt like just lying in bed? You didn't want to do anything! You didn't want to eat! Every bone and muscle ached! You had no energy to even interact with others! These are signs of depression!

This can be caused by physical phenomena, such as an imbalance in brain chemistry, some form of abuse, stress, and even certain genetic markers! But, it can also be the result of an underlying spiritual issue!

Now, first off, I am not a medical professional! Should you or someone you know seem to exhibit signs of depression; Please seek professional help and advice! There are a number of treatments available. There is, however, a few things you can do! There are a number of habits one may have that could contribute to keeping you depressed or even becoming more depressed! These are things YOU can control!

Briefly, They are as follows:
1. Isolating yourself.
2. Lack of exercise.
3. Unhealthy eating.
4. Bad sleeping habits.
5. Dwelling on negative thoughts.

So, doing the exact opposite of these may help! Getting out and interacting; carrying on healthy relations with others can contribute to feelings of self-worth. It lets us see we are cared about and important to others. That we bring something to the table to contribute to life.

Exercising will not only help you feel a sense of accomplishment in having done something positive but also promotes the release of endorphins, which promote feelings of happiness and contentment. And, it will increase energy and promote health!

Eating healthy can help restore imbalances in brain chemistry, and promote better health and a more healthy weight. If you struggle with weight issues, this could also help you feel more positive about yourself.

Changing sleeping habits will help restore balance and energy, which in turn promotes feelings of well being. Research shows that R.E.M sleep is where our bodies and minds recharge and relax from the day's events. This is where our subconscious works on the day's problems. R.E.M. doesn't kick in until after about three uninterrupted hours. Sleep can play a HUGE part!

And dwelling on negative thoughts just strengthens feelings of hopelessness and or worthlessness. Here is where we begin to touch on the spiritual! All of the World's Major Religions and most Esoteric Orders (occultic orders) believe in "The Law Of Attraction!" Basically, you have what you say. What you believe strongly enough Will manifest in your life!
