The Power Of Focus - Stupid or Clever?

Now, the power of orienting our ideas and imagination towards a goal or dream makes us so freaking smart.Everything you perceive with your senses, was once an idea and part of a plan in someone's head. I'm talking especially about manmade things.

We can have also some opinion about whether nature and its marvels was once in God's imagination or plans. We might not know but, surely, the way we see our surroundings is determined by the state of mind and predisposition of who is admiring.

We might live in a natural paradise, but yet, experience an inner hell and fearful feelings of any kinds. We might live in prison or thru difficult circumstances, and yet, our Self-Talk (yesterday's article) is positive and constructive... and we have the feeling of living in peace, and we are.

Now, the power of orienting our ideas and imagination towards a goal or dream makes us so freaking smart.

People might see us working in something we love, very focused and present, giving the impression that we know what we're doing (and we do know) and in their heads we're giving them the idea that we're very intelligent and capable.

On the other hand, we might be working in a job we don't like. We might be working in an environment that "is not us" and our heads are most of the time focusing on our lives outside... and we make mistakes, and people around us start considering us as "the stupid person."

"The stupid one" is just a person which brain is focused in something else.

We (I once read) are using our brains for about 5 per cent of its real capacity. I believe that very brain in this whole planet has the same powerful attributes and memory capability and learning skills.

If you don't believe so, that's fine.

Our brain adapts and allows humans to evolve and, brain and body grew together. Physically exercise and your brain will reactf with mental images and emotions. Stay in your living room, close your eyes and imagine being on the beach over and over and your body will start feeling the sensations of being on that beach.

Even if you believe that some brains are less developed than others, please give me this...: If someone has his or her brain developed at 70 per cent respect of the average person, and if that person is using his or her imagination and focus on one specific goal, he or she might be using their brains at 20 per cent or more of their brain capacity! More than the average person. Think about that...

No goals, then no focus… and distraction and insanity sets in. At that point we keep walking in circles, experiencing again and again the same sensations, same life.

Like Albert Einstein said, "The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result."

Keep thinking about that...
