How Do You Deal with Disappointments?

When something doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to, how do you cope with the disappointment?

* Do you stamp your feet and throw a paddy? (Type A)
* Or do you say “better luck next time” and move on? (Type B)

You see, sometimes it’s easier to say “lesson learnt for next time,” however sometimes, you loose too much to be able to do that!

Today I’ve had a disappointment that cost me £1,000!! I don’t want to loose the money of corse so I’ll make the best of it! But it will always be a slap in the face for me! I’m gonna have to make do with “second best”

So now...! I ask the question to myself! How will I show up in the face of this disappointment?!

I don’t want to admit that I’m the type A person who wants to lie down on the floor right now and kick my legs and possibly yell and scream at anyone around me! So instead of admitting to that, I’ll have to show a brave face and say “it’s ok! I’m happy with second best! Let’s make a go of it!”

However! Are you aware how damm hard that is for me to do?!
Are you aware how I am fighting with myself to lock up my feelings to replace it with logic?!

I can’t do it!!!!
I’m failing!!!
I’m actually beginning to really cry!!!
The tears are slowly making its way to the world!

I hate myself for being this way!
I hate myself for not being able to cope with disappointments!
I hate myself for letting things that are out of my control, control me!

If there is one lesson I would like to learn from today onwards, it’s this!

Life is not always a straight forward rollercoaster! Life, more often then not, throws at us some lemons!
I want to know how, to take those effing lemons and instead of kicking it back in it’s face, make some refeshingly delicious lemonade!!!! And even more so! To share it with my nearest and dearest!!!

So I turn to my loving and supportive community, who has my back in all areas of life! (Not just business)
Why? Because I know that all I need to do is change my mindset and everything else follows!

Who you may ask is my loving and supportive community?

That is, my friends at SFM who make up a tribe of likeminded individuals who are all here for one reason, and that is to make a difference in someone else’s life!!!

So! Thank you my dear friends and supporters! I can’t wait to hear your advice!

And to you I would like to say... this is just one example of how by signing up to this “business education” my life has changed ten folds! Not just financially but personally too!!! This is why I keep saying “BE PREPARED FOR LIFE CHANGING TRANSFORMATIONS!”
