Are you searching for calmness within your mind? Do you feel out of focus? How long has it been since you felt passionate about ...well anything? Restart the management of your internal dialog, and you will find the Passion for living you've been longing for. Life is too short! Let's get started understanding how.

All the answers are inside of you! As simple as that! You hold your power and the password inside. Here is what you need to know. Have you ever noticed the chatter inside your head? Some would express it like "my mind is racing, or I feel like I am going crazy inside, or possibly you are ridden by anxiety at times." Just relax because I have some answers that may help you. Sigmund Freud, as well as Dr.Wayne Dyer, give great insights in helping you to understand this more clearly.

Understanding the battle within your mind helps to clarify and simplify things. This will help you to find calm and peace within, and return to your original state of joy and just being in the present moment. To tame your thoughts is the secret spiritual password to Freedom of the mind.

Here is a video well worth watching called "The shift" by Wayne Dyer: "Make the shift from the Ego-Driven ambition to a life of meaning."

In The Shift, Dr. Wayne Dyer explains "4 shifts that are possible within our lifetime to reach fulfillment, meaning, and purpose.

1)Non-being>(born)being, spirit>form, invisible> physical world of things

2)Ambition>Ego (opposite of the place of spirit which we came) Most people stop here and continue to expand the Ego. Although we have a choice to shift further to greater meaning and purpose.

3)Making a u-turn back to the place of spirit (reaching for meditating, finding peace within, living a life of deeper fulfillment with love)

4)Ambition>Meaning is redirecting our ambition to the fulfillment of our Authentic Self."

To fully understand how to find the answers inside of us, we must first learn how all of our thoughts got there in the first place. Let's talk a little bit about the Structural model of 3 entities inside of our Psyche coined by the brilliant Sigmund Freud " The Id, Ego, and Superego."

1)The Id resides in the unconscious thoughts; This is the only one we are born with. In Freud's later years he describes the Id as "Eros" in Latin terms it means "love, Life energy, selfless love." This one in my view is the innocent outlook of a child. The primal, instinctual desire seeking entity. This is our real self/our spiritual beginning.

2)The Ego is split between conscious, preconscious and unconscious thoughts. This is our driver, the mediator of views. The ego has quite the challenge while moderating the Id's demands versus the Superego's shoulds.

3)The SuperEgo is what we were taught by your parents and society as to how to behave. This entity will should you to death. My view is the Superego is the one that is always on your case about following the rules set in place by society's standards (the one who beats you up inside).

So, which do you follow? What view will serve you best? Should you, should you not and on and on in your mind. There comes a point to where a person either breaks down or calms the chatter. This is what I am finding in today's world. Solution oriented I choose the later of calming the mind. How you ask?

Through meditating, exercise and nutrition focus is how. Leaving stressful conditions like a job that does not serve you. Look how many people are becoming Entrepreneurs. I did! I Love it! There is a trend growing with people seeking this internal calm state. We are all increasingly overstimulated and stressed by our work environments, technology, and life in general. With this fast pace, I believe there is a majority that has found tools for calming the incessant chatter within the mind. This all remains within your control. Understanding that it is natural and knowing why and where these thoughts are driven from, will help you take control and realize a calm state of peaceful bliss and focus. Meditation puts the thoughts on pause (which is great to be able to manage more efficiently) although the root is the understanding of how these thoughts are arriving. Trust comes in when you reach certainty and go with the wisdom of your heart.
