Continuing from the previous blog post, where I shared about me realizing that there must be More to it Than Meets the Eye, when we Really Want to Change something, but it's like some part of us has a Different Plan.

Personally, at one point I wanted to Stop Drinking Cola, but it seemed like when I Forbid Myself to drink it, the More I Wanted It. It was like I Came To War with myself Inside, one part wanted to drink the cola and another part didn't allow it. For some time I was able not to drink it, but always after a while, I drank it again and Felt Disappointed about myself.

Then one day I heard or read something about, that the things we make Prohibited, they become More Exciting to us. And the more we are In Balance in our bodies, the more the body will Crave Healthier Choices. Being tired of Hammering My Head about not having enough Willpower, I decided just to Allow Myself to drink cola if I wanted, and Not Being Judgemental about it. It was very interesting because after a while the desire for cola just Disappeared By Itself.

This made me really Wonder about what is Going On Inside ourselves when we Crave something, and which Processes Are Activated when we decide to Change something in our life. And why sometimes it's So Hard for us to change.

Digging Deeper about this, I found out that we've all been Conditioned with different Beliefs through our lives. Many of them come from our Childhood and often we don't even realize that it's a belief and Not Reality or the truth.

And these beliefs can Stand In Our way when we Want To Change something. Our Minds most important task is to Keep Us Safe. And when we want to change something the mind sees it as a Threat and tries to Fight it.

So What Can We Do? Are we just Doomed to stay in the same place without change?

I will talk about, what we can do to make change easier in the Next Blog Post coming out on Monday, July 10th, 2017.
