It’s 6am and your hand can’t make it to the alarm clock before the voices in your head start telling you that it’s too early, too dark and too cold to get out of bed.  

Sound familiar? You’ve planned your workout week and you’re pumped ready to get up early and smash out some serious workouts. Then Monday comes, your alarm clock goes off and the voices start…  

I recently came across this video on YouTube and have been watching it daily. I love it, it motivates me and it has absolutely helped me to get up out of bed when my alarm clock goes off on those early mornings. I know it can help you too which is why I wanted to share it.

    

So have you set your fitness goals? Run through them again in your head right now. How far have you got to go to achieve them? Does it feel like you’re headed upstream? And you want to choose the easy path? But you know darn well that the easy path is NOT going to get you there, you need to Decide to turn your back of what’s safe and comfortable and easy.  

My trainer once said “Learn to hate the easy and love the hard.” The hard is what’s going to make you stronger.  

With each step comes the decision to take another and your Fears, Doubts and Insecurities are all there lined up ready to take you down. They’re not easily defeated but they’re far from invincible so don’t lose heart. This is where You Choose to step up and drown out the sound of those voices with your own heartbeat.  

Remember what you’re fighting for, what your dreams and goals are, why you’re here.  

So believe that voice that says ‘you can run a little faster’, ‘you can throw a little harder’.  

You ARE Ready.  

Decide Now. It’s all up to you, no one else is going to do it for you.
