Life is life. It doesn't always turn out the way we expect it to be. I have to say I have been fortunate for most of my life, so much so that I can count incidents when life didn't exactly happen the way I expected it to be. And when that happened, i remember being in total disbelief and taking my own time adjusting to the new reality. It took some time but I got the hang of things.
The more I think about those not so planned events in my life the more I see the similarities on how I accepted the situation, worked through it, and bounced back!
Acknowledge and be realistic
First things first.
It's important to acknowledge and feel the raw emotions you encounter when you find yourself in a situation that you didn't expect to be in. If it is grieving, do that. If you feel the need to disconnect from everyone for a while, do just that!
This step is the foundation of prepairing yourself to successfully bring yourself out of it. Take your time. There is no set time limit! Know that everyone is different. YOU will know when you are ready to move on to the next step.
It's important to know that your near and dear ones will always know what you are going through and will actually go out of their way to give you the space you need to figure a way out.
Set the intention
Now that you have poured yourself out completely, you are ready for the next step.
Set the intention of how you want to feel to bring your focus back. What it is that you want to accomplish? Make a list.
If you don't quite know which direction to go in, start by looking into something that you always wanted to do but dread doing. Even if you don't know what you want to do, you always know what you don't want to do.
Point is to channel all your scattered energy and put it in a direction that serves you well.
Now that you have a list to work on, pick your item to start working.
Focus on just this one item for now. Figure out what resources you will be needing, how much time you would need to invest, and if there is money involved then how much money is needed. Then create a plan and break it into small achieveable chunks to bring your drive and confidence back!
Once this item is done, start the next one and complete it. You will notice that you start to feel the shift in your vibration and feel good more often.
This is a starting point for new positive cycle in your life.
Yay!!! Now is the time to give yourself pat on the back and celebrate your accomplishments no matter how big or small. The more you acknowledge and celebrate what you want in your life, the more you will attract it to you.
That's how I attracted an independent digital lifestyle in my life which gives me freedom and flexibility to be with my growing family and live the life of my dreams. You can too! (link below).
