In today's fast-moving world, finding the time where one can unwind and spend a few minutes of relaxation, with no ties to work, business or the demands of the daily life can be a challenge.

Most people's lives are so busy with things to think about and things to do. That is why their lives are so out of balance. Having balance and feeling aligned is something we all desire.

We can attain inner peace and maintain it by setting aside a few minutes every day to relax and replenish our energy.

Here are some suggestions to get you started:

Conscious Breathing

Notice the sensation of your breathing. Feel the air moving in and out of your body.

Notice how the chest and abdomen expand and contract slightly with the in and out-breath.

One conscious breath of more taken many times a day is an excellent way of bringing space into your life.

Even if you meditate for more extended periods, one deep breath is all you ever need to bring awareness.

Also, observe the brief cessation of the breath, particularly the still point at the end of the out-breath, before you start breathing again.

MUSIC THAT BRINGS JOY TO YOUR HEART

There are so many beautiful melodies that you can hear on YouTube. I chose this one as it helps me to ease and appreciate the moment for about 4 minutes. I hope you enjoy it.

BEAUTIFUL WORDS OF WISDOM

We all need a dose of inspiration. These words of wisdom can help us guide our life. Here's a collection of valuable quotes about life to inspire you to make the best out of it

According to Eckhart Tolle, to find inner peace: "Become conscious of being conscious. Say or think "I Am" and add nothing to it.  Be aware of the stillness that follows the I Am. Sense your presence, the naked, unveiled, unclothed beingness.  It is untouched by young or old, rich or poor, good or bad, or any other attributes."

The title of this melody is "I Am Willing." It definitely transports me to sense the inner spaciousness.

Learning how to relax your mind can bring benefits for your health and wellbeing, it's worth taking a few minutes to expand your mind and open your heart to undreamed of possibilities.
