Dream Reality
I love my bed but it doesn't love me.
I have not always loved going to bed. Once I thought I had serious bed bugs and woke up several times a night. The skin specialist diagnosed some skin thing but my mates said it was probably stress. I ironed the sheets every night, which made a little difference but my skin was still bad. Nearly a year went by before it cleared up and I still have no idea what happened.
Stress is a major killer, especially of our dreams. My dreams were nightmares. I thought a lot about why my mind, whilst I was sleeping was having these epic nightmares. Had I done something wrong in this or another life. Why was my mind not just having a happy-go-lucky time and giving me wonderful dreams of acheiving everything I wanted. After all, it's just fantasy right?
Which brings me to the the interesting world of our imagination. Sort of ridculous when you hear someone say, 'if you think you can, then you will' or something similar. It makes sense, in a way but doesn't have any logical connection. Should I not imagine or think that anything is possible outside the humdrum of everyday life. The world I live in is not like this. We see things being made and have physical evidence of what we can do. Who needs dreamers or people with imagination to change our lives or think they can do things to change the world.
I'm not sure this relationship will ever change. I cannot live without dreaming or desiring things I do not have. I don't often write them down but when I see or hear what I want, a spiritual jolt takes place within me. That's the only evidence I've got to connect the unseen thoughts in my mind with the physical reality. How far can I take this instinct. I feel happier with the dreamers but don't want to be labelled a nut case.
Should I share my innermost thoughts and desires to see them form into real things.
That's where I'm at.
I'm conducting an experiment to whether the action of positive thought makes any difference to our lives. I feel like I already know the answer but I want to see it happen, like watching a plant grow. If I can change then for me it's true. If you need proof. Try your own experiment.
