One of the habits I am working on is investing more time with my daughter Abigail, who is 9 years old. She is up for anything, and loves to go surfing with dad. Not easy moving to a cold climate when you are used to Kwazulu Natal Durban beach weather. Thank goodness for taped wetsuits, as Cape Town water is cold.
Robyn my wife recently went on a conference where she was taught about laughing yoga...I never heard anything so crazy, anyway - after practicing a few different exercises yesterday, one of them being the penguin laughing exercise, I can see how this stuff can become catchy.
Apparently laughing gets a lot of good stuff going on in the body. I think just watching someone else that you know have a go at it, is where the funny part comes in.
This morning I got a watsap message from my stepdad Arthur who I've been trying to get to do TM for over 10 years now, I found the material profound, this is one habit that I would highly recommend you try at some point in your life. For me it was the difference between anxiety attacks from being too stressed, to feeling like I was totally free of any fear.
Inspirational reading is something I try to do every day, this morning I read a chapter out of one of Jack Canfield's Success Principals, finding 20 minutes to do this exercise is well worth it, but needs buyin from family members so you don't get distracted during your quiet times....
