How To Make A Retirement Plan !

Making a retirement plan isn't something I had really though much about until recently. I had paid into various pensions schemes over my lifetime and will share some of the detail in this blog.

I was born in the late 50s and this makes me part of the Baby Boomer generation who were born between 1946 and 1964 and that makes me proud because I have witnessed massive change in our world.

I had a personal pension plan for several years in the late 70s and early 80s, as well as several company pension schemes. The personal pension plan is still sitting there with very little money in it, Robert Maxwell manage to spend all that I had in my BPCC pension, there is some in a Public Sector Pension as well as a Teachers Pension.

Half My Monthly Salary !

The collective monthly amount that I am eligible to draw in 8 years time is less than half my monthly salary right now and currently my lifestyle at pensionable age is not going to reach the level that I would like and I am not alone in that position as the vast majority of people do not have any sort of retirement plan.

I am currently a teacher and this got me to thinking about what skills I could learn that would accelerate my learning and enable me to create funds for my retirement plan. The way I saw it was that we are currently in the internet age with lots of new skills being required to become active online and join the revolution so to speak.

Online Learning To Gain Skills !

I knew that I had to find some of learning provider who had the necessary online courses and information to help me gain the skills. I would also need access to materials, mentorship, a supportive community and much more.

Well, it took some searching and I found an academy run by two entrepreneurs who could provide me with all that I needed to enable me to create my retirement plan and this is where the story begins and will enable a happy trouble free retirement.
