Starting My Digital Life – Genesis

About a year ago (September 2015) I was trolling the internet for business ideas, different streams of income and a job. Initially, I wasn’t finding much success, there was just too much information and I was going around in circles. Nevertheless, I stumbled on until I was managing to separate the wheat from the chaff. The truth from the lies. The ‘Get Rich Quick Schemes’ to the ‘shit, this is a serious business model with real people and real money.’

Anyway, I had managed to get a job, not a very exciting one, actually it was bloody awful; I was a Real Estate Agent in London.

However, London was fun, is fun; there are places to see, people to meet and pubs and bars to let loose in (yes, I like to party). It’s a hive of activity, I bloody loved it. Shit job but great life.

There’s only one thing, actually two things, London is expensive and no one has any time, at least any time for real things in life. The daily routine; wake up at 7 (with a hangover), go to work, finish work at 7-7:30, go to the pub, finish as many pints as possible, go to sleep and do it all over again tomorrow!

Now, don’t get me wrong, that can be a lot of fun. But as aforementioned, it’s expensive (I spent £9,000 in 4 weeks) and it takes up a lot of time (28 days holiday a year. Pffff). About 6 months into my new life in London, I started to get that itchy feeling, (No, not down there) but there was something better and bigger for me. More money and less time in an office. Less of the 9-5 (or, 8-7) grind.

So I started my research again. Trolling through the internet for ideas., studying new ways to start a business that could one day become my main source of income.

Boom! I had seen The Six Figure Mentors before and suddenly a little light bulb in my head went off. I did my background reading on the company and the people behind it, Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek. I read the reviews and testimonials. I was a little sceptical at first, that’s normal. Some reviews were bad, but a lot were good, really good.

I took the plunge!

Leapt in with a feeling of scepticism and excitement. I knew there was something different about these guys, there was compassion, knowledge and a true desire to teach like-minded people how to set up a business model online that works.

They were part of the whole Laptop Lifestyle’ community, and they were, or are, hugely successful.

I enrolled on the course, I was sent a 7 day video series for free, so I could better evaluate my decision.

You see, The Six Figure Mentors have the best educational platform and business model across the internet (yes, I’m bias). But I’ve done about 6-8 months’ research on everything else. This is not another ‘Get Rich Quick Scheme’, this takes hard work and dedication. This is building a business of serious potential. “Treat it like a business and get payed like a business, treat it like a hobby and get payed like a hobby.”

I am now a student and hopefully becoming a master of this ‘Laptop Lifestyle’ business. It has open my eyes to possibilities. These guys literally teach you everything, I do a lot of my own studying on the subject, but they have ‘been there and done it’ and come out of the other side bigger and better. They are now passing on their knowledge to us. It’s a seriously professional outfit. I have my own business consultant, I have an interview for a marketing strategy, I have over a 100 videos to watch, tutorials and modules to cover. It’s bullet proof, but obviously you still have to work hard at it. Earn while you learn.

This is just the beginning of the digital economy, the beginning of my digital life. There is something bigger and better out there, you just have to find it like I have done!

If you’re curious and what to learn more about it, maybe evaluate your own decision, then feel free to check out the videos and information here. Just like I did. Chase that new found freedom, that dream travel destination, time with your friends and family and the money.

Onwards and Upwards.
