In life, many of us are always striving to be our best selves. But when we are going for an interview for an important job we need to act and look at 'certain way'. All of this is good but in most of the society, it seems a bit over exaggerated because companies expect you to be a certain character.

I can attest to this experience because I use to work for a sales job called Tara Energy and they expected me to go door to door and put on this fake smile even though I hated the job trying to make extra money so I can pay for school. Some of the people that I worked with were either too shady or just had a bad attitude.

To put the cherry on top of this my manager had expected me to work from 9 am to 9 pm every day because it would interfere with my school schedule and I wouldn't have time to do any work. After a full day of work with barely any time to do my schoolwork, I would come home being tired and restless.

I knew that there had to be a solution to my problems that I had been suffering from my life. I did not want to live this way. Sure I would get paid between $400-$600 per week even up to $1000 but I did not like this job to the core. It was more than money that I was after I wanted to leverage my time and money so I that I could manage my time and figure out what I wanted out of life.

I'm sure that many of you are are reading this blog know what it is like to feel the utter defeat on your face when you're coming back from your typical 9 am to 5 pm job. When you wake up in the morning you muster up the courage to put on that fake smile to please your boss so you can get a promotion or more money all the while it makes you feel empty inside.

I ran into this advertisement on youtube where I saw a man who was a lawyer who became a digital marketer through an opportunity where he was able to unmask fake 'smile' and not have to sugarcoat being himself.

This caught my attention because he had a similar story that I had working for a corporate job and being taught to sugarcoat truth to people doing his profession. I decided to take on this opportunity and it has changed my whole perspective on myself. I was able to have time for myself, change my mindset from being fake to be real, and my friends and family started to see a change in attitude.

You can decide on whether you want to have a sugarcoated life or life filled with the perspective of freedom and peace of mind.
