Life is ever revolving. We get so busy in life and in our minds that we forget to stop and make those human connections. These connections are so vital in this growing technological world. Take the time to connect. We really don't know what another person is going through at any point in time. Always be kind to, and you will find that you receive in return.
There is a book called the Law of the garbage truck by David J. Pollay
In this book, Mr. Pollay describes a valuable perspective in understanding others and how to deal with them. His primary message is "Many people are like garbage trucks. Some people run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment, looking for something to be offended by. As their garbage fills up, they look for a place to dump it. And if you let them, they will dump it on you. So when someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Believe me. You'll be happier".
So I started thinking about how often I let garbage trucks run over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to others? At work, at home, and on the street. It was then when I said, "I don't want their garbage, and I don't want to spread it anymore."
David Pollay's book is filled with excellent understanding of others and how to respond to their behavior as well as dealing with life in general.
Now, to take a look at how to do the opposite of spreading garbage and create Love through expression.
Here is a solution to cultivate positivity around you and to spread Love:
Love grows by service. Coined by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
"When we shower someone with much-needed attention, or maybe flowers, or run an errand for a friend, or volunteer to do a favor for an unnamed person, we benefit in many ways. We appreciate more, and we feel right about our behavior. We've tightened our connection to another person that fosters personal human development.
Most of us long for more signs of love from one another. We fail to understand that our expression of love towards that special someone, will release the love that we long to feel.
Love multiplies with the frequency of expression, whether stranger-to-stranger, friend-to-friend, lover-to-lover, parent-to-child; and everyone is the beneficiary.
Love's expression spontaneously generates more of itself, thus promising each of us what we long for". Worthy of love by Karen Casey.
Love begins with you. Fill yourself with love and spread it around! Build others around you create love back to you!
Let the growing begin!
P.S. A smile will do wonders because it is contagious. A hug is even better!
Love to you. As always dedicated to building you up!
