How We Get What We Wish For

From 1986 to 1988 I lived on my own, I was seeing a few girls clubbing and generally enjoying life or so I thought. I realised this wasn't what I really wanted, I wanted to have a partner who I was happy. My job was still ok but not challenging enough. The company still allowed me to work three days for them and two days with another company who I was intending to buy into. However something amazing happened again, I was focusing on the following daily, you have to realise I was in my car for some 6 hours in a day so my thinking time was laser targeted:

• My social life was on the road to destruction
• My relationship with the girls I was dating was not fulfilling
• I needed to settle down.
• The company I was looking to buy into was not going to give me fulfilment
• I was fed up of clubbing 
• The girl I was seeing on a regular basis had no future or happiness.
• I wanted a settle into a long term relationship with meaning
• I knew my career was not going to give me what I wanted.

The laws of attraction at work again

Heres what happend at the end of 1987 into 1988. I started to have arguments with the girl I was seeing on a regular basis. I liked her a lot but I didn't trust her, I couldn't just connect with her mentality to find harmony. Things came to a head in May 1988, we had a big argument which was nothing new, so I decided to ring a friend and see if he and his wife wanted to go to a club. As it happened they had had words as well, I talked him into getting ready and I would pick him up , we would go to a village pub we knew , pick his wife up on the way back into town and go to a club.  

I arrived at their house, the girl I was seeing had telephoned my friends asking if they had seen me, they said "NO!!" Now normally, I would have contacted her and asked her to join us, but some energy somewhere guided me not too. This was a significant event. We went to the pub my friend drove, we were having a drink and I spotted two girls. My friend knew my thoughts and said " bet you can't get her to come to the club with us " to which I replied " no, but I bet I can get her number " . I did get her number and I knew straight away, when I left her in the pub that this was going to be special. It was, we are still married happily today !!

During early 1989, My career also shifted , I was approached by a guy I knew and he asked me if I would join him in a business, on a 60/40 deal. We agreed a start date, in April 1989 I started work in my new company, In May 1989, one year to the day of meeting my wife we got married.

 I am now happy and fulfilled achieving my purpose, I have a property business and an online business. I have learnt to serve others ( as I hope I am doing now ) respect others for what they are trying to achieve no matter how big or small their ambition. I work on my attitude each day and look to help anyone I can on a daily basis.
