Are you 70 %

I met the chocolate salesmen, not the person giving you cheap candy at the local shop but the proper one who travels around with the expensive bars.
He handed me a small piece of 70 % chocolate, which I was planning to gulp down. He stopped me and told me to let the chocolate rest on my tongue for a few moments.
That was it. The moment of revelation. Why had nobody told me to try this before. They probably did but I was not listening.
So in order to experience and appreciate the true taste, you need to do this, let it slowly dissolve on your tongue. That’s why I never much liked the high percentage chocolate bars.
Once it’s explained, you appreciate. A bit like HD TV.
So what good is this information to you?
Is there something else in your life that needs to be explained or watered down.
How about your education. I find the entire education process ridiculous.
After years at school I end up in a room with a desk and a couple of chairs and some leaflets with various subjects. These were just subjects to study at college or university. I had no idea what they were. We were just told we needed to pass so many exams to get access to the courses.
Nobody was there to explain anything. Just pick a leaflet and a subject.

How can we decide on our lives like this.
How can we know if we want to be a doctor or lawyer at age 15. Even at 25, it’s not easy to figure out what we want to do.
For me the task is important, not the subject. Not everybody wants to work at the funeral home but for some it is a place where their skills work well. Others find it addictive writing computer code.
What i’ve noticed is that it is when you are working for yourself, even doing the most mundane thing, it doesn’t feel that bad. When you have to do that mundane thing for someone else’s business it really is horrible. The key to resolving many of our gripes is doing things for ourselves.
