Therefore, it should be designed in a way that people are curious to know more about what you said in advert. This take us back to previous point that purpose of an ad is to get the click. Head line:

We come across hundreds of ads everyday so we scan them quickly.  An advert should be something that would grab the attention. Purpose of the headline is to seek the attention. Think of the people who you want to attract and what would appeal to them.  Some time people click just by looking at the heading, if they feel that they are getting close to their solution. An irresistible offer will also force the people to click and even turn into a conversion on your website.

Body Copy:

Many advertisers think that in the body copy they need to explain the feature of their product. This is a big misconception. You need to talk about the benefits that people would get from this product. People are interested what they are getting out of this. They don’t need the lengthy boring technical explanation of the product. They want to know, what is there for them. If it serves the purpose they are looking for, they will go for it.

Call to Action:

Doesn’t matter how much detail and benefits are given, but it is still not enough until you call them to action. You need to guide them to your next step. Whether you want them to click on the link, pay for services and product, contact you through email, phone or comments. Mention this clearly in your ad. If ad is small, ‘call to action’ will come at the bottom of the ad. If you are explaining about your product and its benefits, you can scatter call to action link evenly few times in the add. Ideally it is best to put it at three positions 1. After headline, 2. In the middle, 3. At the bottom of your ad.

By following these guidelines, you can create an outstanding ad that would grab the people’s attention and encourage them to buy whatever product or services you are offering.
