Traffic, commuting for a minimum of 10 hours per week, and that was a good week where no accidents took place and traffic was free flowing!  This was almost the end of me, just sitting for endless hours in traffic, enduring the stress of the unpredictable behaviour of drivers in this city we call home!  It was enough to make me burst a blood vessel, seriously, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than go back to sitting in the traffic.  What I wanted was Freedom To Enjoy a Lifestyle of Freedom and Flexibility - surely there was another way.

Thus my journey began.  Initally staying in the same industry (exhibitions) and changed from working at an office to working from a home office.  Heaven!  Absolute bliss!  I could start work as early as I wanted, not when the traffic dictated.  I relished the additional time available, enjoying quiet times in the morning, planning effectively, and being more readily available to my little family.  The exhibition industry does have it's pros, for example, it is a very competitive and exciting field; I loved interacting with my exhibitors and working on-site during the shows themselves, but, after 7am to 11pm x 10 days onsite and far too much drama between the onsite team and frustrated exhibitors, I decided that I had to make a break from the industry.  I was back to the "there had to be another way" to do life, earn a living and make a difference to the lives of others in the process.
