How to wake up feeling energised

It’s really no wonder so many of us are waking up feeling drained when you think of the amount fear and negativity we are relentlessly being subjected to. People are so conditioned to believing that their dreams and aspirations are not achievable, that they continuously let all the naysayers win.   

There is a high probability that I’ll be the only person that says to you this doesn’t have to be the case anymore. Would you agree that is takes more energy living the life you don’t want than it would be if you actually just took some action?

Here is a brief summary of my top 5 strategies to a new you.

1)      Get rid of negativity. This starts with you.

 In a world which is so freaking negative, where literally every second we are being bombarded with negativity my big challenge to you today is to break free from this. Be that ultra-positive, solution orientated person.  These types of people are incredibly rare to find but society is crying out for them. People desperately want them. So my challenge to you for the next 24 hours is to stop following the masses and actually be positive. Reset the clock and start again if you fail.  People will love you for it and I really do believe this is a fundamental part of creating success. It is so refreshing to meet a positive person that I instantly just love them.

2)      Be realistic not idealistic.

Today all I want you to is target 1 thing you want to achieve. Be that joining a gym, registering for a recruitment website, having that difficult conversation with your boss or partner. You see all these small little wins add up. Do this over the course of a year and you’ve achieved 365 wins. That’s huge compared to what you currently have! It doesn’t have to be massive. Think of it like a domino effect. If you start to knock one down, they’ll all gradually start to fall. Do one thing today and it doesn’t matter how big or small it is. Just focus on 1 thing and watch you start to smash your goals!

3)      What you focus on expands.

Add some perspective. So if you’re permanently stuck in the mindset that your life is rubbish and nothing is going to get better then that is exactly what you’ll get back. Concentrate on what it is you want rather than what you don’t want. Think of your passions and desires. You can make a business out of anything and in a world where everything is at a touch of a button there are no excuses. You have some amazing tools and resources right at your very finger tips. The information is out there. Use them!

4)      Be confident.

People are so lacking in confidence because they let the fear take over nearly all the time. Confidence is trusting you are reliably showing up as your best self and doing a great job with whatever is coming your way or going on in your life. Start acting and behaving like the person you want to become. Don’t listen tom people who have quit or given up.

5)      Take full responsibility. You have choice.

People never think like this but in every situation you have choice. You are not obliged to do anything. You are totally responsible for your current predicament. The best and most successful people always take 100% responsibility.  You chose the job you despise or the partner you are arguing with. As much as it was a choice to be in that job or with that partner you can decide to reject it right here right now. You can change it. Remember it takes more energy living the life you don’t want than it would be if you actually took action now.

Draw a line in the sand and genuinely mean that you are no longer going to accept this way of living anymore. Take the action and let’s stop this story which is no longer serving you or anyone around you well. Be the leader and start being the person you want to be.
