It is been almost a year when things at work started going not so well. After 30 years on the job, a job that I loved doing, and felt passionate about it, no longer attracted me. What went wrong then? What changed? I'm am about to tell you in a moment. In the mean time check the link below, and see what grabbed my attention as I was falling out of love with my job.

Call me old fashion, but I am the type of person that does not like to be changing jobs too often. That is the reason why I stayed in the same field for 30 long years; but as I mentioned, something happened last year that prompted me to make the decision to move on, and start looking somewhere else.

Working in the Food Manufacturing Business one has to follow many rules and regulations, some are internal and some are external (government regulations). My company had been putting pressure on us in an attempt to comply with some of the external regulations, and went out of hand on the "how" to do it. The pressure was such that my direct boss turned into Rhaegal (dragon from the Game of Thrones), and threathened us continously to "extrerminate" everyone who did not complied and meet deadlines.

In my 30 years as a proffesional I put up with many things, threatening was not one that I was willing to put up with, it does not go with me. I did some more research to see what was out there for me, after all if I was about to leave my job it had to be under my terms. I will spare you the research. Click on the link below, and see what I was shooting for.

I pray. I prayed a lot. I did not want to leave. The hardest thing for me to do considering quiting my job was to leave behind those that had been with me on good times and bad times, but most especially because they appreciated me, and I valued and respected them. But we all knew, the situation had become unbearable.

In the midst of all of this, some other things were taking place: Rhaegal was being transfered. I saw some light at the end of the tunnel. Could it be possible? Things would go back to somewhat normal? Wishful thinking...Viserion, a more harmful dragon came along.

This simplified my decision. Not knowing a thing about digital marketing, but with the promise that I could learn it all in a few months I ventured into this new field. No kidding, I am learning so much. I am also coming out of my shell: blogging per se, something I never thought of doing. I own and created my web page www.fearlessleadermarketing.com , bear with me, it is brand new, I have many things to add to it. I can create links within my domain, and I am learning not only computer terminology, but what it actually means and do, such as what is an avatar, what is streaming, managing search engines, what are pixels or cookies and what they do, funnels, content, etc, etc, etc.

Unlike me, you don't have to quit your job, my situation was extreme due to the circumstances. However, what you need to consider is that there is future in digital marketing. From a good source I heard that Amazon will be hiring many more Digital Marketers soon, and best of all you can do this from the comfort of your own home as I am doing.
